Quinn Estates approached us to create a website for Connect 38, one of their latest developments in Ashford. The brief outlined the main aim of the website as showcasing the 80,000 sqft office and retail building and encouraging people to sign up for the remaining office space.
The Quinn Estates brand was carefully considered through all aspects of the design process. The layout, font and colour scheme of the Connect 38 website is in keeping with the Quinn Estates website, which the Pillory Barn team also designed and built. There were some elements, which were recreated from the original site, for example, the news section, which reinforced this shared identity further.
One area of the website that has its own distinct identity is the AshfordFor section. Connect 38 is part of Ashford’s ‘Big 8’ large scale developments, which also includes Elwick Place and Curious Brewery. In light of this we wanted to show how Connect 38 fits into this area of the borough’s growth and include details of the AshfordFor campaign.
Across all aspects of the website – design, development and content – the brief was considered thoroughly. It was very important to have eye-catching imagery to give a visual representation of the specifications of the building and help sell the remaining office space. The testimonial functionality supported this as it allows users of the website to read what existing tenants think of the development. Our content writers included a number of calls to action to encourage the user journey, meaning that people would be more likely to engage with the website in a way that the client would like them to.
